In the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 27th, over 1,500 Israeli police officers razed the Bedouin village of El-Arakib - just north of Beer Sheva in the Israeli Negev desert - to the ground.
45 structures were destroyed and 300 people, including 200 children, were made homeless. The village was destroyed again a few days later, shortly after residents organized a demonstration against what had happened.
